A group has announced they will be holding a protest outside of Sunderland City Hall following a mass-stabbing attack in Southport which saw the deaths of three little girls.
The unnamed group, titling their event “Stop playing lottery with children’s lives” has planned to host their demonstration on August 2nd at 7pm.
The killings have provoked unrest throughout England, with a riot occurring at the scene of the attack in Southport, Mersey last night.
A 17 year old man remains in custody over the murders, but due to his age he has not yet been named for authorities.
This itself has drawn criticism as it remains a unique case of public interest for the world to know his identity, leading to speculation and misinformation about his background and intentions.
