A Ryhope businessman and his family have reacted with dismay after a new van he purchased just days ago was stolen overnight.
The white ford transit van, which has a registration of NU13 XVC, was parked outside and pinched during the early hours of the morning. With it, his phone has also been stolen.
The family are now appealing for its return and if anyone has any information they should report it to the police.
