SGM Launches “Into the Light” SAFC Fanzine

Sunderland Global Media are proud to announce the launch of our new internal SAFC fanzine “Into the Light” which will aim to provide up to date opinions, report and commentary on Sunderland A.F.C.

After a recruitment drive online, we are likewise to announce Jamie Smith as the new editor and primary reporter of the section, although as stated previously we are continuing to recruit and welcome contributions from a variety of other writers. We are not a closed shop, but will represent the club’s fans to the best of our ability.

For the first two years of SGM’s existence, its SAFC reporting was inconsistent and unconcentrated largely as the editorial focus concentrated around local history and lore,. The new division and staff input however now begins an exciting journey which will aim to establish Into the Light as one of the leading SAFC publications.
