The Baggies came back from.behimd to beat Sunderland after a lacklustre second half performance from the Black Cats.
Sunderland started the half the stronger of the two sides showing good, high press.
Alex Pritchard hit a decent shot that sailed wide of the post just 2 minutes into the game.
17 minutes into the game, Sunderland were awarded a penalty after Amad Diallo got in behind and Conor Townsend brought him done, it was a definite penalty.
Diallo, who was fouled stepped up to take the penalty and he sent the ‘keeper the wrong way and finished smartly.
Just 2 minutes later, the Black Cats almost made it two, when Alex Pritchard was set up by Ellis Simms but Alex Palmer made an outstanding save to keep the Baggies in it.
Sunderland simply never got going in the second half and West Brom punished them.
West Brom manager, Corberan made changes at half time and it proved to change the game.
After knocking on the door for some time and forcing a few decent saves from Anthony Patterson, substitute Tom Rogic drew the Baggies level with a great outside foot finish from the edge of the area.
Just over 10 minutes later, Daryl Dile completed the comeback when he headed home smartly from a Rogic cross.
Sunderland remain 11th and miss out on the opportunity to rise up to 7th in the table.

Anthony Patterson – 6
Made some good saves, his distribution needs a lot of work.
Lynden Gooch – 5
He had a good first half, but he really struggled defensively in the second. Some of his crosses towards the end weren’t great.
Danny Batth – 6
Not a particularly bad performance, did well at times, especially in the first half.
Luke O’Nien – 6
Similar to Batth.
Aji Alese – 6
Did OK going forward in the first half, but in the second half he was caught far too narrow, too many times letting Jed Wallace have touch of the ball.
Corry Evans – 5
Not a great performance from.the captain, struggled physically against their midfield.
Dan Neil – 5
Similar to Evans, didn’t see much of the ball.
Alex Pritchard – 6
Never stopped running in the first half and always looked to get us forward. He was similar in the second half but struggled to make as much of an impact.
Elliot Embleton – 6
Battled well and got Sunderland up the pitch quite often in the first half. He was taken off early in the second.
Amad Diallo – 6
Did well to win the penalty and put it away brilliantly. He didn’t see as much of the ball in the second half but when he did he always tried to make something happen.
Ellis Simms – 5
Did well at times holding the line in the first half but he was very isolated in the second.

Really struggled when he came on as Sunderland were on the back foot.
Dennis Cirkin – 5
Didn’t really make much difference.

All brought on in the 89th minute, far too late to make any sort of impact.
