SAFC have held a number of managerial interviews in the past few days, according to a report published by Michael Graham of Sunderland nation.
The report states: “a number of preferred candidates that was later whittled down to two, both of whom are foreign based, who they have now spoken to. They will speak to both again in the coming few days.”
However, “there is no sense of desperation and urgency.” It is understood according to the report, that they will not be in place before the Leeds game.
The goal of the appointment will be to kick the club onwards to the next level.
