A Sunderland pets charity has announced its closure after stating that it is unable to cope with demand
Sunderland Pets Pantry Food bank, which strives to offer pet food for a wide range of animals to people who struggle with the cost of living, wrote a tearful Facebook post announcing their closure.
However, it seems that demand soon outstripped supply and the charity struggled, leading to the decision to shut down.
The organisation however said their work will be taken over by another charity known as Pet Angels Wearside (PAWS).
