Burnley striker, Jay Rodriguez has started the campaign in top form, scoring 7 goals in 13 games so far this season.
Jack Clarke is Sunderland’s current top scorers, behind the injured Ross Stewart, on 4 goals and he will be desperate to add to that tally on Saturday.
The Black Cats’ start the game in 13th place, but with the table being so close, with a victory, they could move as high as 8th.
Sunderland will once again be without a recognised striker, as Ross Stewart and Ellis Simms remain injured.
Aji Alese is also out for a few weeks, after he was on the end of a crunching challenge against Blackburn on Tuesday.
