Ross Stewart has been in the news lately regarding his contract, but he will be focusing on keeping his 100% scoring record since returning from his injury.
Sunderland have lost their last three games against The Swans, their last win coming in 2016 thanks to a Defoe hat-trick as Sunderland came out 2-4 winners at the Liberty Stadium.
Danny Batth will be back in the squad and Lynden Gooch could make his return from injury.
