Three people have been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter after a teenager died in a house fire.
Leah Casson, 18, died in the blaze at the property in Vicarage Street, North Shields, in January.
Three other people managed to escape from the building but suffered serious injuries.
A woman in her 40s, and two men aged between 35 and 40, have now been arrested and released on bail, Northumbria Police said.
No charges have been made and inquiries are continuing.
The fire started in the early hours of the morning on 16 January, and led to a number of other homes being evacuated.
At the time of the teenager’s death, her parents described her as an “outgoing and bubbly” daughter and said she was “loved so much”.
