Two men charged in relation to an alleged robbery and Acid Attack in Seaham Petrol Station.

Two men were arrested after an alleged robbery at the Esso petrol station on Stockton Road, Seaham

Durham Police were called to the petrol station just after 4:15am on Sunday morning.

Paramedics were also at the scene treating a member of staff for facial injuries.

SGM contacted Durham Constabulary who told us: “A 31-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of robbery and being in possession of a noxious substance and a 23-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of robbery.

Anyone with any information is asked to call Durham Constabulary on 101, quoting incident number 65 of January 23.”

Durham Constabulary have since confirmed that the two men have now been charged.
