Detectives have released CCTV images of a thug accused of stabbing a man for telling him off about his dog pooing on the street in Central London.
A confrontation between the pair happened at the junction with Ropemaker Street in London’s Square Mile early on December 16.
City of London Police said the victim’s injuries were not life threatening. They now want to speak to the suspect in relation to the street attack and have released an image of a man they would like to trace.
Detective Sergeant David Honan said: “We would like to speak to anyone who recognises the man or has any additional information about the knife attack that took place in the City of London in the early hours of Saturday, December 16.
“If you see this man, please do not to approach him, instead contact the police on 020 7601 2222.
“We want to reassure City residents and those who come into the City to work and socialise, that a full and thorough investigation is underway.”
