Urgent allergy warning issued over Mini Milk lollies sold across UK
A popular children’s ice lolly has been urgently recalled due to a serious allergy labelling error that could pose a deadly risk.
Wall’s Mini Milk Vanilla, Strawberry & Chocolate Ice Cream Lollies – sold in packs of 10 – may contain milk, peanuts, pistachios and soya, which are not properly declared on the packaging in English. This poses a health risk for anyone with allergies or intolerances to these ingredients.
The Food Standards Agency has issued a “DO NOT EAT” alert. Affected batch codes are: L5123, L5126, L5127, L5128, L5129, L5141 and L5142, with a best before date of May 2027.
Unilever, the manufacturer, is removing the products from sale and has contacted allergy support groups. Point-of-sale warnings will also be displayed in all shops stocking the product.
Anyone who bought the lollies and has allergies is advised to avoid consumption and contact Unilever for a refund at ukicare@unilever.com.
