Washington man jailed for child rape cites Playboy Mansion to defend himself

A Washington man who has been jailed for child rape, sexual assault and indecent images claimed that Hugh Hefner’s playboy mansion justified his crimes.

Simon Hildrew, 39 from Washington committed a litany of abuse against two children and eventually pleaded guilty to 16 charges against him.

However, he told police that his crimes should be acceptable because American magnate Hugh Hefner was allegedly allowed to get away with the same thing, asking them “is it right for Hugh Hefner to have a Playboy mansion filled with teenagers?”

His mindset was established in the court that if elite alleged sex offenders could get away with their crimes, then he should be allowed to as well.

He was sentenced to 14 years in prison.
