Youths attack bus with rocks at Hastings Hill Roundabout

A number of youths attacked a bus with rocks on the Hastings Hill roundabout on Wednesday, witnesses have reported
As the bus was turning onto the roundabout, the attackers hid on the underpass and threw the stones from below.
There are no reports of anyone being hurt in the attack.
Chloe Morrison, who was on the bus during the attack, stated her belief that “public transport was no longer safe anymore” and urged politicians and police to act.
Mindless youth attacks against buses in Sunderland has become a growing cause of concern in the local area, with a bus being attacked by what was reportedly an air rifle in Doxford Park in March.
