Sunderland Beach Dog exclusion Zones to restart on May 1st

Seasonal exclusion zones are set to come back into force on areas of the Seafront on Wednesday, May 1st, the council has advised.

As advised by the local authority: “The dog exclusion zones apply to Roker beach and to a limited stretch of beach at Seaburn, between 1 May and 30 September.

If anyone is witnessed walking their dog in a prohibited area during these periods, they will be issued with a £100 Fixed Penalty Notice.”
