Appeal to identify owner after dog tied to lamppost and abandoned in Hendon

A dog was rescued by a woman and her partner after it was abandoned and left tied to a lamppost in Hendon yesterday.

Photographs of the dog, left near Hudson road school, were shared on social media after being discovered by Sammy Hendry. Its original owner was described as a “young man.”

Thankfully, after the incident was circulated, a woman called Rachael Hall and her partner made the decision to rescue him and taken him in.

Police were also involved on the scene. Now, an appeal is being made to identify the young man who owned the dog.
