JOB NEWS: Commercial Development Lead and The Digital Technology Lead, Sunderland Fans Museum, Monkwearmouth
The Sunderland Fans Museum is hiring for a commercial development lead and a digital technology lead, as it seeks to expand its portfolio following a successful national lottery grant.
Last week, the museum, based in the former Monkwearmouth Station building, announced that it had successfully won a nearly £100,000 grant from the national lottery fund.
It is subsequently utilising this money to help further the museum’s commercial activities, while also expanding its technological capabilities to improve its catalogues and portfolio.
The roles will be on a full-time basis.
Founded by Michael Ganley, the Fans Museum is arguably one of the best grassroots established collections in the city that has succeeded in obtaining a vast portfolio of football memorabilia from all the world.
