Dog walkers urged to stay away from part of Doxford Park due to widespread broken glass

Dog walkers are being asked to be vigilant and stay away from part of Doxford Park due to reports of “widespread” broken glass.

The area of the park, described as “the top field” next to the picnic bench has been showered in broken glass bottles, as seen in a video by SGM, which poses a fundamental risk to dogs.

The scene was first spotted this evening by concerned locals.
