Location
• Elvet Bridge, Durham DH1 3AF
Contract & Hours
• Part-time
• Working 3 nights out of 7
• Shifts: 5:00pm – 11:30pm
Pay
• £10.00 – £12.21 per hour

The Role
• Provide friendly, efficient service in a busy bar environment
• Create a welcoming experience for all customers
• Work as part of a close-knit hospitality team
Key Responsibilities
• Greet customers and deliver excellent customer service
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks
• Take orders accurately and efficiently
• Operate the till and handle cash transactions
• Check ID and comply with licensing laws
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area
• Restock bar supplies and assist with inventory
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards
• Work closely with kitchen staff to coordinate orders
• Adhere to company policies and procedures
Skills & Experience
• Hospitality or bartending experience preferred but not essential
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Good time management and ability to multitask
• Basic maths skills for transactions
• Knowledge of food safety regulations
• Willingness to learn and develop
Desirable Experience
• Hospitality: 1 year
• Customer service: 1 year
• Bartending: 1 year
