Bar Supervisor – Tup Tup Palace
Location: 7 St. Nicholas Street, Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 1RE
Contract: Full-time
Pay: £13.50 per hour
About the role
- Supervisory role within a busy nightclub environment
- Responsible for overseeing daily bar operations and leading the bar team
- Focus on delivering high standards of service and a great guest experience
- Personal Licence advantageous but not essential
- Monthly service bonus available
Key duties
- Manage day-to-day bar operations, including staff supervision and training
- Ensure consistently high standards of customer service
- Oversee stock control, ordering, and inventory management
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations
- Handle customer queries and resolve issues effectively
- Foster a positive, motivated team environment
- Work closely with other departments to enhance the overall venue experience
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience in a bar or hospitality supervisory/management role
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Confident supervising staff in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and customer-focused approach
- Ability to manage cash handling and operational responsibilities
- Personal Licence desirable
