JOB NEWS: The Cooper Rose is hiring a Cleaner to work on a Part-time basis
Cleaner – The Cooper Rose (J D Wetherspoon), Sunderland
- Pay: £12.41 per hour (+ £1/hour between midnight–5:59am)
- Hours: 16 hours per week
- Shifts: Daily 6:00am–9:00am (Monday–Sunday)
- Contract type: Flexible (guaranteed or variable hours available)
- Closing date: 4 February 2026
Key duties
- Cleaning all pub areas including customer spaces, toilets, bar, kitchen, staff areas and outside areas
- Completing daily, weekly and monthly cleaning schedules
- Using cleaning chemicals and equipment safely
- Monitoring supplies and reporting maintenance or pest issues
- Polite interaction with customers during opening hours
- Completing required training and refresher courses
