VOLUNTEERS WANTED: Roker Pier & Lighthouse is recruiting volunteers for guided tours, administration, social media, retail and more on a part-time basis

Roker Pier & Lighthouse is expanding its tours and is looking for new volunteers to join the Roker Pier Heritage Group at one of Sunderland’s most iconic landmarks.

As a volunteer, you’ll help deliver guided tours of Roker Pier and Lighthouse and support their wider activities.

Volunteer roles available:

• Tour Guides

• Administration

• Social Media

• Retail

• Website Admin

• Maintenance

• HR

• General Duties

You’ll need to:

• Be a good communicator

• Have an interest in local history

• Be reliable and able to commit to regular, mutually agreed sessions

• Ideally, have relevant experience or skills for your chosen role
