Role Overview:
- Experienced and passionate Barista required for a fast-paced café environment.
- Focus on delivering specialty-grade coffee to a consistently high standard.
- Maintain excellent cleanliness, organisation, and customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve high-quality espresso-based drinks to specification.
- Deliver consistent latte art confidently.
- Dial in grinders and adjust extraction throughout service.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation.
- Work efficiently during busy peak periods while maintaining composure.
- Manage workflow to minimise bottlenecks and improve speed of service.
- Maintain milk quality and correct storage procedures.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages.
- Follow food hygiene and health & safety procedures.
- Provide warm and engaging customer service at all times.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Minimum 1 year barista experience in a busy café (required).
- Strong understanding of espresso extraction and milk texturing.
- Confident latte art skills.
- Ability to multi-task under pressure.
- High attention to detail.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Positive, team-focused attitude.
