About the Role:
As a Sales Advisor, you’ll deliver high-quality eye and hearing care support while driving sales within the wider M&S store. A customer-facing retail role combining service, sales and basic optical support duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promoting optical & hearing services to drive appointments
- Assisting customers in selecting frames and lenses
- Maintaining accurate customer records
- Managing stock levels
- Handling enquiries professionally
- Performing basic adjustments and minor repairs
- Booking and confirming appointments
- Supporting contact lens fittings and pre-tests
- Working towards store sales targets
- Supporting marketing initiatives and events
What They’re Looking For:
- Strong retail, sales or customer service background
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Organised and detail-focused
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Commercial awareness and confidence driving sales
- Optical or healthcare experience preferred (not essential)
Ideal for someone sales-driven, customer-focused and confident in a retail setting with interest in optical services.
