Role Overview
- Server and Bartender role in an American-style sports restaurant
- Zero hours contract with flexible scheduling
- Customer-facing hospitality role focused on delivering a great dining experience
- Shifts may include evenings, weekends and holidays
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and timely manner
- Present menus and explain food and drink options
- Take customer orders accurately and communicate them to the kitchen
- Serve food and drinks efficiently and courteously
- Check on guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction
- Handle customer concerns professionally
- Process payments using POS systems (cash and card)
- Clear and reset tables between customers
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the dining area
- Follow health and safety standards at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience in serving or customer service
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Professional attitude and positive approach to guest service
- Basic maths skills for handling payments
- Flexible availability including nights and weekends
