Overview
Full-time Customer Service Consultant role with HSBC in Sunderland. A customer-facing banking position focused on delivering excellent service, supporting digital banking, and helping customers with financial needs.
Hours
- 35 hours per week
- Monday–Friday: 09:00–17:00
- Saturday: 09:00–13:30 (where applicable)

Role Responsibilities
- Act as first point of contact for customers in branch
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve enquiries
- Support customers with digital banking services
- Raise fraud awareness and ensure customer safety
- Assist vulnerable customers and those with complex needs
- Deliver personalised and efficient service
Ideal Candidate
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer-focused with empathy and professionalism
- Ability to handle changing environments
- Resilient and proactive
- Previous customer service experience helpful (not essential)
Training
- 9-day training programme (over 3 weeks)
- Full in-branch support and development
Additional Notes
- Must be able to work full-time hours
- May be required to support nearby branches
