Arriva Northumbria Limited is recruiting Trainee Bus Drivers to join its Ashington depot, offering full paid training and the opportunity to gain a PCV licence while building a rewarding career in public transport.

Successful applicants will complete approximately four weeks of paid training at Arriva’s Training School before working alongside an experienced mentor. Drivers will provide an essential service to the local community, safely transporting passengers to work, school, appointments and leisure destinations across the region.

The role operates on a rotating five-days-in-seven shift pattern, including early mornings, afternoons and evenings, with overtime opportunities available. Applicants must be at least 21 years old, have held a full driving licence for at least six months, have no more than six penalty points, and be willing to complete drug and alcohol screening and an English comprehension assessment.
