About The Role
NoteMachine UK Ltd, part of Brink’s, is recruiting a Field Service Engineer to maintain and repair its ATM network across the UK.
The successful candidate will work independently across their region, carrying out second-line break-fix repairs and preventative maintenance on ATM equipment. This includes Triton, NCR and Wincor machines, with the aim of maintaining high machine availability and achieving strong first-time fix rates.
The role combines technical fault-finding and repair work with customer service. Engineers will visit customer locations, maintain professional relationships, accurately record service activity and parts usage, and complete quality checks to ensure work complies with company and regulatory standards.
ATM experience is highly desirable, but NoteMachine is also interested in engineers who have worked with other electro-mechanical systems such as vending machines, coffee machines, EPOS systems, self-service checkouts, ticketing equipment, kiosks, parking systems, arcade machines and other retail technology.
The position offers a starting salary of £39,353 per year, plus a potential onboarding bonus of up to £1,000 and a performance bonus. Engineers are provided with a company van, fuel card, tools and uniform.
The role involves a 44-hour working week across a seven-day period. Rotas for weekends and bank holidays are provided fairly and transparently, with schedules issued at least two weeks in advance.
Applicants must have a full UK manual driving licence with no more than six active penalty points and must live within the CA or DG postcode area. Successful applicants will also need to pass financial and background screening.
NoteMachine says it provides comprehensive induction, ongoing technical training and career progression opportunities within both NoteMachine and Brink’s.
