ABOUT THE ROLE
• Provide hands-on support to residents while providing leadership to junior care staff.
• Deliver direct personal care alongside supervisory responsibilities.
• Ensure high standards of person-centred care are consistently maintained.
• Promote dignity, independence and residents’ individual rights.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist residents with washing, dressing and toileting.
• Supervise and support junior care staff and new team members.
• Monitor residents’ conditions and report changes to senior management or nursing staff.
• Communicate effectively with residents and ensure they feel listened to and respected.
• Maintain a clean, safe and compliant care environment.
• Follow health and safety regulations.

REQUIREMENTS
• Experience as a Senior Carer or in a similar care home role.
• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care, or currently working towards it.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Genuine passion for elderly care and team development.
• Must be an experienced Senior Care Assistant or care professional.
• Caring, compassionate and enthusiastic approach.
