Pay: £11.53–£45.00 Per Hour, Depending On Available Work
Contract: Self-Employed
Working Pattern: Full-Time Or Part-Time, With Flexible Hours
Availability Required: Monday To Friday. Preference Will Be Given To Applicants Available On Monday, Tuesday And Wednesday.

About The Role

Good Dog Walking Hexham is looking for enthusiastic animal lovers to provide dog walking and pet care services in and around Hexham.

The role offers flexibility for people who enjoy spending time outdoors and caring for animals. Work is subcontracted, and hours depend on the work available and the hours you can undertake.

Key Responsibilities

• Walk dogs individually or in groups around the Hexham area.
• Transport dogs to suitable outdoor areas where they can exercise and play safely.
• Provide home boarding and daytime pet care when requested.
• Care for cats, birds and small pets, including reptiles.
• Feed animals and provide social interaction.
• Clean pet-related items, including litter trays and cages.
• Maintain excellent customer service and reliable timekeeping.
• Capture social media content as part of the role.

Requirements

• Experience caring for animals, through employment or personal experience.
• A full driving licence and access to your own suitable vehicle for transporting dogs safely and securely.
• Availability to work Monday to Friday.
• Reliability, patience, motivation and good communication skills.
• Strong time-management and customer-service skills.
• Physical fitness for dog walking and pet care duties.
• Willingness to undergo a DBS check.
• Two references.
• Willingness to complete a canine first aid course.
• Must have UK work authorisation.
