About The Role

Sayturk Limited is looking for an enthusiastic Bartender to join its team in Newcastle upon Tyne. The successful candidate will prepare and serve drinks, provide friendly customer service and help maintain a welcoming, clean and safe bar environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve cocktails, beers, wines and non-alcoholic drinks.
• Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional service.
• Keep the bar area clean, organised and compliant with food safety standards.
• Manage multiple drink orders efficiently and accurately.
• Handle cash transactions and calculate payments and change correctly.
• Monitor customer behaviour and follow responsible alcohol service procedures.
• Restock bar supplies when required.
• Work with colleagues to maintain a positive atmosphere and deliver good customer experiences.

Requirements

• Previous hospitality or restaurant experience is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of drink recipes, bartending techniques and food safety regulations.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• An energetic, positive and professional attitude.
• Basic maths skills for handling payments and drink measurements.
• Good time management and the ability to work in a busy environment.
• Commitment to responsible alcohol service and customer safety.
