Salary: £12.71 Per Hour

Contract: Part-Time

Working Hours: 12.5 Hours Per Week, Monday To Friday, 7am–9:30am. Weekends Off.

About The Role:

Sodexo is recruiting a Cleaning Operative to help maintain clean, hygienic and welcoming surroundings at Cuthbert House Approved Premises in Bensham.

The role involves cleaning communal areas and facilities in a setting that provides temporary accommodation and support for people on probation. Applicants must be comfortable working in this environment and follow site security, safety and confidentiality procedures.

Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential, as training and a uniform will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete scheduled cleaning tasks to maintain hygiene and presentation standards.
• Clean kitchens, toilets and communal areas.
• Carry out periodic deep cleaning as directed by a supervisor.
• Replenish supplies, including toilet tissue and hand soap.
• Use cleaning products and equipment safely.
• Follow health and safety procedures.
• Report faults, hazards and maintenance concerns.
• Maintain a friendly, professional and respectful approach towards residents, colleagues and visitors.

Requirements:

• Reliable and available to work 2.5 hours each weekday.
• Good attention to detail and pride in your work.
• Good communication skills and a respectful attitude.
• Ability to follow instructions and manage tasks independently.
• Willingness to adapt when priorities change.
• Must be aged 18 or over and able to provide valid identification.

Previous cleaning experience and knowledge of cleaning products are helpful but not essential.
