Job Type: Permanent
Working Hours: Monday To Friday, 3:30pm–6:45pm (16.25 Hours Per Week)
About The Role:
OCS Group is looking for a reliable Cleaner to help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment at Bank House in Newcastle. The successful candidate will carry out general cleaning duties and maintain high standards of hygiene across designated areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, wiping surfaces and emptying waste.
- Cleaning offices, corridors, washrooms and welfare areas.
- Replenishing supplies such as toilet paper, hand towels and soap.
- Following health and safety, COSHH and cleaning procedures.
- Using cleaning equipment and materials safely.
- Reporting maintenance issues, damage or hazards.
- Completing tasks efficiently and maintaining professional standards.
Requirements:
- Right to work in the UK.
- Willingness to undergo a DBS check.
- Previous commercial cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
- Understanding of cleaning methods, equipment and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good attention to detail, reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
Knowledge of COSHH and experience in facilities management or contracted cleaning services would be advantageous. Training can be provided where required.
