Stallholders dispel “misinformation” that Jacky White’s Markets is closing down

A number of stallholders at Jacky White’s Market have publicly spoke out against false rumours the market is closing down, following a misunderstanding from members of the public after one stall announced its closure.

AndyMan UpCycling, a Jacky White’s Market stall, sadly announced it would be closing down in a few weeks time, which has led to some people believing the market in its entirety will be closing down, invertedly impacting other stalls in the process.

Aidan Lynch, owner of The Retro Room store, posted on his store’s official facebook page that the claims were “misinformation”, stating “I can’t stress this enough. The market is not closing, and I’m not going anywhere. Unfortunately 1 singular small stall is having a 10 week closing down sale and it has caused a number unnecessary rumours and misinformation.”

Similarly, Crazy Fantazy Fancy Dress also announced: “I would just like to make things clear, Jacky whites market is NOT closing down! One stall is closing and has decided to make a big thing about it which has been in the Echo and on face book and people are not reading it properly and it doesn’t help when you have station taxi drivers telling people we are closing because they can’t read properly! This will affect people’s business so once again the market is very much OPEN!”
