Do you recognise this man? Appeal after woman stalked and filmed

Northumbria Police have appealed for witnesses after a woman reported being stalked by a man in Newcastle city centre.

The woman was shopping in Eldon Square when this man began staring at her. He then started to film her on his phone and followed her.

Frightened, she then challenged him and he walked away.

Police have now released an image of a man they’d like to speak to in connection with the incident.
