Bad Accident on Silksworth Road leaves debris around East Herrington

A car recently crashed into a barrier on Silksworth Road just off the A690 in East Herrington, leaving debris all over the road and pavement and creating a hazard, locals have warned.

Photos emerged online showing a roadside barrier crushed near De Niro’s barbers by the force of impact, leaving jagged metal, vehicle parts and scrap all over the surrounding area.

Although the vehicle in question has long been removed, this debris has not been cleaned up, posing a risk to everyone who walks or drives past the area.
