Do you recognise this man? Police issue appeal after Trimdon Street theft

Northumbria Police have issued an appeal to identify a man following a theft in Trimdon Street.

“Can you help us identify this man? We are looking to identify him as we investigate a report of a theft in Sunderland.

On Friday, July 12, we received a report of a theft of a pedal cycle outside JD Gym on Trimdon Street.

It was reported that the victim attended JD Gym and left his pedal cycle locked to a lamppost, outside the gym.

It’s alleged that an offender has then approached the bike and damaged the lock, before stealing it along with the victim’s helmet.

The pedal cycle is a grey coloured Trex FX 2

As part of our ongoing enquiries, we are asking for anyone with any information, to get in touch.”
