Role Overview
- Part-time Bartender role at Alvinos bar in Newcastle city centre
- Approximately 16–24 hours per week
- Late-night hospitality role in a busy independent cocktail bar
- Weekend and night shift availability required
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to company standards
- Provide friendly and professional customer service to guests
- Take orders using POS systems and process payments
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area
- Follow food safety standards and responsible alcohol service policies
- Restock bar supplies during shifts
- Monitor guest behaviour and promote responsible drinking
- Work with team members to deliver smooth service during busy periods
Requirements
- Previous bartending experience required
- Hospitality or customer service experience preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and responsible alcohol service
- Good time management and ability to work under pressure
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work late nights and weekends
