Job Purpose
- Ensure all incoming stock is accurately checked, correctly recorded, and safely transported to the relevant area of the warehouse
- Support compliance with Good Distribution Practice (GDP) for medicinal products, including mandatory training and annual refreshers
Key Responsibilities
- Check incoming deliveries against out-of-stock lists and prioritise items on receipt
- Verify product descriptions and pack sizes are correct
- Inspect goods for damage and check expiry dates
- Count stock accurately and record details on paperwork
- Pass completed documentation to the Goods In office
- Maintain housekeeping standards in internal and external warehouse bays
- Follow all Health & Safety requirements at all times
- Ensure security procedures are followed, including managing delivery drivers appropriately
- Report issues or queries to the Team Leader
- Carry out reasonable requests from management as required

Important Requirement (Manual Handling)
- This role includes essential manual handling duties such as lifting and bending
- Applicants must be able to perform these duties as they are a core requirement of the role
- The employer may not be able to make reasonable adjustments if manual handling cannot be completed
Additional Information
- No managerial responsibility
- Limited decision-making responsibilities, mainly operational checks
- May occasionally work unsupervised
- Role involves working as part of a warehouse operations team supporting pharmaceutical distribution across the UK
