- 2 September 2026 to 30 April 2027
• Hours:
- 27.5 hours per week
• Working Pattern:
- Monday to Friday
• Shift Pattern:
- 1:00pm to 6:30pm
• Training Period:
- Hours may vary during the first two weeks
- Some morning shifts required to support training
• Closing Date:
- 28 June 2026
About the Role
• Join the Schools and Community Engagement Team at the International Centre for Life.
• Deliver hands-on STEM workshops to:
- Schools
- Community groups
- Families
- Adult learners
• Support outreach activities across the region.
• Help create engaging and welcoming learning experiences for participants.
• Adapt activities and presentations to suit different audiences and learning needs.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver interactive STEM learning activities and workshops.
• Support community and school engagement programmes.
• Create a positive and inclusive environment for learners.
• Assist with the development of new educational activities.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
• Work independently and collaboratively as part of a wider team.
• Represent Centre for Life professionally in public-facing settings.
Essential Requirements
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to engage confidently with a wide range of audiences.
• Positive, flexible and adaptable approach.
• Good organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Interest in STEM subjects and willingness to learn.
Desirable Experience
• Experience in an educational setting.
• Experience delivering activities, workshops or presentations.
• Experience within an informal learning environment.
• Previous public-facing customer engagement experience.
