ABOUT THE ROLE
Creative Support is looking for a Support Worker to join its team in Jarrow, supporting adults with learning disabilities with their daily lives.
No previous experience is required, with training provided to help successful applicants develop their skills and career in social care.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide positive behaviour support to individuals with learning disabilities and non-verbal communication requirements
• Encourage service users to take part in social activities both within and outside their homes
• Develop warm and trusting relationships with service users and their families
• Support service users to enjoy their time at the service
• Administer and monitor prescribed medication
