About The Role
Deliveroo is recruiting Bike Couriers in Washington, offering flexible self-employed work that allows riders to choose when they want to work.
The role allows couriers to accept orders through the Deliveroo app and work around their own schedule. Riders can use their own bike, scooter or car and can set their own earning goals.
Deliveroo pays a competitive fee for each completed order, with customer tips providing an additional opportunity to increase earnings. Payments are made weekly, while riders can also cash out their earnings daily through the app.
The company provides free professional delivery equipment and accident insurance while riders are online. Riders can also access support through the app while working.
The advert states that new riders may be eligible for an additional £100 after completing 10 orders before 31st August in a specified location. However, the offer wording supplied in the advert refers specifically to Bedford, while the advertised job location is Washington, so applicants should check the current offer terms when applying.
The role provides opportunities to earn more during busy periods, particularly evenings and weekends. Deliveroo says riders can sign up in around five minutes, subject to meeting the required eligibility and onboarding requirements.
