About the Role
- Join the warehouse team as a Warehouse Operative/Labourer with Driving Duties.
- Help ensure the warehouse operates efficiently, safely and securely.
- Deliver goods to customer sites when required.
- Support warehouse operations and assist installation teams when needed.
- Work within a friendly and supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor goods entering and leaving the warehouse.
- Ensure all stock is correctly labelled and stored safely.
- Maintain a clean, organised and secure warehouse.
- Sell goods directly to customers from the shop display.
- Deliver goods to sites when required.
- Load and unload vehicles safely.
- Complete warehouse administration duties.
- Carry out general housekeeping tasks.
- Assist with furniture assembly when required.
- Maintain warehouse and merchandise security.
- Follow all Health and Safety procedures.
- Support Sub Floor Technicians and Fitters with daily duties.
- Learn sub-floor preparation procedures and practical techniques.
Skills and Experience Required
- Strong communication skills.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Strong team player with a positive attitude.
- Ability to work safely and efficiently under pressure.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Willingness to complete Fork Lift Truck (FLT) training.
- Willingness to obtain a CSCS Card.
- Willingness to complete Asbestos Awareness Training.
