Durham Constabulary is hiring a Social Media Advisor to join its award-winning Communications Team at Police HQ in Durham.
The role involves leading all force social media channels, creating engaging, accessible content, identifying stories that matter to local communities, staying ahead of trends, and using analytics to grow engagement and inform decision-making.
You’ll take the lead on planning, developing and delivering content across platforms, managing news flow, and ensuring the force’s online presence builds trust and confidence.
Applicants must have:
- A relevant Level 3 qualification (A-level/BTEC or higher)
- Two years’ experience in a media-related role
- Basic numerical skills and the ability to analyse simple statistics
