• Main Responsibilities:
• Support the Shop Manager in the day-to-day running of the store
• Lead, coach and develop a team of retail assistants
• Manage store operations in the manager’s absence
• Ensure excellent customer service standards
• Oversee deliveries and shop routines
• Help control operational costs, waste and payroll
• Assist with recruitment and induction of new employees
• Requirements:
• Previous experience as a manager, supervisor or team leader
• Strong people and communication skills
• Reliable and trustworthy approach to work
• Ability to build positive working relationships
• Successful completion of a Basic DBS check if appointed
