Role overview
GO Outdoors is recruiting a Store Colleague to support day-to-day retail operations and deliver a positive customer experience in store. This role suits someone who enjoys customer interaction, working in a fast-paced retail environment and has an interest in outdoor products.
Key responsibilities
Providing friendly, helpful customer service and ensuring customers have a positive in-store experience
Supporting sales targets by promoting products and services and identifying add-on opportunities
Maintaining high standards of visual merchandising and store presentation
Processing sales transactions accurately, including cash and card payments
Keeping stock levels replenished and the shop floor organised and safe
Assisting across departments when required
Handling customer queries and resolving issues professionally
Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve store KPIs
Skills and experience
Positive attitude towards customer-focused retail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Confidence engaging with customers in a busy environment
Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and holidays
Retail experience is beneficial but not essential
