About The Role
Heron Foods is recruiting a Part Time Sales Assistant for its store in Shiney Row, Houghton Le Spring, DH4 4RB.
The permanent role offers up to £12.71 per hour, depending on age, with 12 hours of work per week.
The successful candidate will carry out a varied range of retail duties, including checking and organising deliveries, keeping shelves stocked and well presented, responding to customer enquiries and helping the wider team achieve store goals.
The role is suited to someone who enjoys working in a busy, fast-paced environment and providing friendly customer service. Previous experience in sales, retail or hospitality is beneficial but is not essential.
