Key Responsibilities
- Support the Warehouse Manager in all aspects of warehouse management
- Ensure warehouse tasks are completed efficiently while maintaining service levels
- Control and prioritise daily warehouse workloads
- Manage staffing levels to support daily operations
- Ensure warehouse staff follow agreed procedures and health and safety requirements
- Organise and manage the daily activities of warehouse staff
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies
- Promote continuous improvement within the team
- Communicate effectively with relevant departments
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping
- Process and record warehouse documentation accurately
- Assist other departments when required
Working Pattern
- Permanent
- Full-time
- 48 hours per week
- Friday to Monday
- 06:00 – 18:00
Requirements
- Knowledge of warehouse health and safety procedures
- Experience using stock management software
- FLT licence
- Experience managing and developing a team
- Ability to demonstrate the company’s values of Safe, Talented, Attentive and Reliable
About The Role
Kinaxia Logistics is recruiting a Warehouse Supervisor to join its Sunderland site. The successful candidate will support the Warehouse Manager in overseeing warehouse operations, staff management, health and safety compliance, customer service and continuous improvement while ensuring the efficient movement and storage of goods.
