£13.00 – £13.95 per hour
Permanent (30 hours per week)
Lidl is recruiting a Customer Assistant to join the team at its North Hylton Road store in Sunderland. This is a hands-on retail role in a fast-paced environment where no two shifts are the same.
Key duties include:
- Providing excellent customer service and assisting with queries
- Restocking shelves and working deliveries efficiently
- Operating tills and supporting checkout areas
- Baking and replenishing fresh bakery items
- Maintaining store cleanliness, organisation, and presentation
- Supporting non-food and middle aisle merchandising

- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service skills
- Flexibility to work early starts, late finishes, weekends, and bank holidays
- A positive attitude and willingness to adapt to changing priorities
