Northumbria Police is recruiting a Cleaner to join its Business Services Department at Southwick Custody Suite in Sunderland. This is a weekend role supporting operational policing by ensuring facilities remain clean, safe and fully functional.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean washrooms and kitchens using specialist equipment and chemicals
- Vacuum and mop floors
- Operate floor scrubber/dryer machines
- Empty bins and complete general cleaning duties
- Maintain health and safety standards
- Work at height where required
No previous cleaning experience is required – full training will be provided. Applicants must be reliable, punctual and reasonably fit, as this is a physical role.
